Naustr was written because the alternatives either cost more than they saved, or required somebody to move tracking numbers between two tabs every morning.
It runs in production in a Norwegian online shop every single day, with real orders and real labels. That is also why the carrier list is seven rather than seventy: these are the ones worth doing properly for the shops we sell to.
New customers are taken on one at a time. Freight needs accounts, agreements and a few choices that cannot be guessed — that is a conversation, not a signup form.
Why Naustr?
A naust is the shed at the waterline where the boat rests between trips. Your order rests the same way, somewhere between the purchase and the doorstep. It deserves a proper place to do it.
